At first, campus can seem confusing. The main buildings for teaching are on the Parade, and numbered around the Library. Buildings on the North side are numbered odd, while buildings on the South side are even. The numbers get bigger the further away you go from the Library.
As you can see from the campus map, the Library is in the heart of the Parade. Moving North West from the Library the buildings are 1 West, 3 West, 5 West, then 7 and 9 West. Sometimes there is an extra building tucked in, such as 1 West North or 4 East South.
There are lots of maps and signposts around to help you navigate.
This signpost and map are at the Western end of the Parade, at the bottom of the slope. The signpost directs people toward Polden and the West Accommodation Centre, the Medical Centre, the Parade, and places on the East side of campus such as Arrivals Square and the East Accommodation centre.
